Today a round table was held at the “Economist +” site for master’s students of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, where special economic and investment zones and public-private policy were discussed.

The main speakers were Aziz Yerzhanovich Iskakov, executive director of the Kazakhstan Institute of Social Research, as well as Dana Akylbekovna Eshimova, who is the leading scientific director of our organization. The main topics of the round table are the methodology for assessing the effectiveness of existing special economic and investment zones and the actual practice of using PPP in Kazakhstan. Comparison with best foreign practices was discussed.

Professors Zhumabaev S.A., associate professors Ukibaeva G.K., Serikbaev B.M. also took part in the discussion. and assistant Dosmagambetova A. The main results of the meeting were an agreement to continue the discussion on an individual basis.
