On February 26, an expert discussion of the draft Construction Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place at the Astana Press Club. The event, organized by member of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Abenov at the “Parliamentary Tribune” site, brought together leading experts and leaders of the construction industry.

The main speaker on the expert online platform was the General Director of KazNIISA JSC Begman Kulbaev. Jointly with him as a speaker was the General Director of the National Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Aslanbek Kuandykovich Dzhakupov.

Legislation on architectural, urban planning and construction activities is a complex institution of legal norms that are in close relationship with complexes of norms in related areas of law regulating activities in the field of nature conservation and natural resources, land use, safety, preservation of historical and cultural heritage, which need the most full legal support, including within the framework of the ongoing reform of the system of technical regulation of the construction industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In this regard, the adoption of an industry code will help solve systemic problems in the construction industry and enhance the stability of legislation.
