A round table was held in Almaty organized by the Kazakh Research and Design Institute of Construction and Architecture JSC on the topic - Issues of application of international standards in Kazakhstan, incl. FIDIC standard forms of construction contracts.

FIDIC proformas are unified construction contracts developed by the International Association of Consulting Engineers in order to regulate the relations of participants in international investment and construction activities and maintain a balance of interests of all participants in the construction process.

The participants of the round table were representatives of business and government agencies, the presentation was made by the managing partner of Artyushenko and Partners Andrey Artyushenko, Managing Director for Operations of BI Construction & Engineering Darkhan Rakhimov, Olga Kubanskaya, General Director of the National Association of Consulting Engineers in Construction (NAICS ), Omarbekov Talant - Chairman of the Council of SRO "RSPK"

According to the General Director of the Kazakh Research and Design Institute of Construction and Architecture JSC Begman Kulbaev, to solve the problems existing in Kazakhstan, incl. In the field of architectural and technical supervision, clarification of the status of individual engineering workers and maintaining a balance of interests of all parties, work is currently underway to develop a new Urban Planning Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which will become the first comprehensive legislative act for the construction industry in the history of independent Kazakhstan.
