General Director of the National Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Aslanbek Jakupov took part in the round table to discuss the draft Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On amendments and additions to certain legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on project management issues.”

The event took place on May 24, 2024 at the MIND Maqsut Narikbayev University site. Among the participants were deputies of the Mazhilis, representatives of government bodies, academic institutions and the expert community; the First Vice-Minister of the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan Tuleushin K.A. delivered a welcoming speech.

The bill is aimed at creating a favorable legal environment for the development of project management in the country. Amendments have been made to the Administrative Procedure Code, Labor and Budget Codes, which will help improve the efficiency of government bodies and the transition to a matrix management structure.

The round table discussed key aspects of the bill, its goals and proposed approaches to solving project management problems. The adoption of this bill will be an important step in improving legislation and increasing the efficiency of public administration in Kazakhstan.
